“I never imagined, when I first came to see you for life coaching sessions that my life would have changed so significantly. When I look back, I had been going through the motions of life for so long, taking care of the needs, wants and demands of others, being everyone else’s ‘rock’ or ‘anchor’, that I had lost sight of ‘me’. I had suppressed my needs, wants, demands and desires to such an extent that I no longer knew what my own needs, wants and desires were! I had no idea what made me happy. That is how lost ‘me’ was. Oh, yes, I was super-efficient, super-reliable, super-there, super-woman, super-career, etc…etc… but I was being super-duper for everyone else. I was not being super-duper to me. Louise has been coaching me on a number of issues relative to launching my own business. As a first time entrepreneur, I have found my sessions with her extremely beneficial in setting goals and managing projects. Most recently, Louise has consulted with me on my Myers Briggs Personality Type. I am an ENFP and with this classification, I have learned why certain tasks are more challenging and have the tendency to become obstacles based on my personality type. From this new awareness and Louise’s guidance on how to bring about a balance and sense of strategy, I can embrace my preferences and confidently workout new approaches to completing and negotiating my tasks and project goals. I have been practicing exercising decision making from a Judgement perspective which has spared me time management hassles and the old familiar since of dread in my work. Prior to my Myers Brigg’s assessment and consultation with Louise, I found myself riddled with indecision and a certain halting passivity in handling my most significant projects. I am happily moving forward from a place of examining my preference for flexibility in my work while expressing those new found skills for managing tasks in a decisive and organized manner. I am much more well-rounded in my perspective of my own tendencies as a result of my work with Louise on these issues. Happily, I am working in real time, meeting deadlines, and managing projects with new strength and insight into myself. I am very grateful for Louise’s coaching expertise as I have been prone to only become aware of what my passivity was costing me personally and professionally when faced with the frustrating and confrontational circumstances as a result of not exercising more effective skills from the outset.
